Ad Sources let you tag every job with the marketing channel that produced it. Once tagged, you can measure which channels are profitable, attach tracking numbers per campaign, and route calls from a specific source to a specific team.
1. Open Ad Sources
You'll find Ad Sources under Settings. The page lists every marketing channel you track and what calls/jobs are attributed to each.
2. Click Add Ad Source
Each ad source represents a marketing channel: Google Ads, Yelp, Facebook, Yard Sign, Referral, etc. Every job created with this source attached gets tagged for attribution.
3. Name the ad source
Use a name that's clear when filtering reports. Examples: "Google Ads — HVAC campaign", "Yelp", "Yard Sign — Maple St".
4. Attach a phone number or call group (optional)
If you bought a tracking number for this campaign, attach it here so every inbound call to that number is auto-tagged with this ad source. You can also attach a call group to route those calls to a specific team.
5. Save the ad source
Save makes it immediately selectable when creating jobs and visible in attribution reports.
6. Pick the ad source when creating a job
On the New Job form, the Ad Source dropdown shows all your sources. Pick the right one so the job gets attributed correctly.
7. Review the attribution report
Reports show jobs and revenue grouped by ad source so you can measure which marketing channels actually pay off. Filter by date range to see ROI per period.
